The Pilot Apprenticeship Programme for Private Wealth Management, co-organized by The Hong Kong Monetary Authority and The Private Wealth Management Association and administered by The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, is offering two rounds of paid apprenticeship with private wealth management firms in Hong Kong, providing university students experience across a range of functions and leading to a potential job offer after graduation.

A Recruitment Day will be held for university students who are interested to have more information about the Apprenticeship Programme. Attendees will have chance to hear more about the programme, learn and ask questions about Private Wealth Management and meet directly with the participating firms.

Eligible Talents

Full-time undergraduates in their first to third year of study, in any disciplines (not only business and finance) of the following universities:

  • City University of Hong Kong
  • Hong Kong Baptist University
  • Lingnan University
  • The Chinese University of Hong Kong
  • The Education University of Hong Kong
  • The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
  • The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
  • The University of Hong Kong

Three separate Recruitment Day sessions on 2 November 2019 (Saturday) are as follows:

Session 1a: 11:00am - 1:30pm 

                    (11:00am - 11:30am sign-in)

Session 1b: 12:00nn - 1:30pm 

                     (12:00nn - 12:30pm sign-in)

Session 2: 1:45pm - 4:15pm

                  (1:45pm - 2:15pm sign-in)

In light of events that could affect public transportation this Saturday (2 Nov) on Hong Kong island, new arrangements have been made as follows:

  • All activities will be conducted in the Morning Session
  • All registered students (morning and afternoon) are welcome to join the Recruitment Day in the Morning Session. Registration will begin at 9:10am and booths will be open from 9:30am until 10:45am
  • Online video / e-promotional materials will be available for students who cannot attend the Recruitment Day
  • Email confirmation for the changes were sent to registered students
  • Students who can't join the Morning Session are still eligible to apply for the Programme

Please register for the event and select your preferred session. Successful participant will receive a confirmation email that contains detailed information about joining the event. Please be sure to bring along your Student ID card or confirmation email for sign-in on the Recruitment Day.
